Woman Quits Her Job To Breastfeed Her Boyfriend To Help Him Gain Muscle

We've seen some bizarre stories in our time, but this just about tops the lot. It's a story about love, sure, and a story about real human connections. The video you're going to see, though, is also about something else entirely: a grown woman, breastfeeding a fully grown man. You'll never believe the lengths she's gone to fulfil her dream...
A Bizarre Arrangement
She hasn't told her mom, and she hasn't told anyone else except for a handful of friends. Jennifer Mulford, a 36-year-old single mother, has a dirty little secret: she's decided to breastfeed her 36-year-old boyfriend, every two hours, every day of the week. It's a truly weird arrangement, but Jennifer calls it a "magical experience". Does she know something that we don't?
This "magical experience" has turned Jennifer's life upside-down. She's had to quit her job as a bartender just to keep abreast (sorry) of the 12-times-daily nipple-sucking sessions. She's sleep deprived, her boobs are sore, and her sex life has fallen apart. In other words, she's struggling just as much as a new mother would. The only difference is that her newborn baby is actually a hairy bodybuilder. Not only that, he's loving every minute of it.
All About Breastfeeding
So what about the science of breastfeeding? How hard is it on the mother, exactly? Although it may seem as simple as squirting a bit of milk out of a nipple, breastfeeding is actually an incredibly complicated bodily process. A cocktail of hormones during and after pregnancy control the flow, production of milk, and growth of the breasts, and require precise levels to operate successfully. The system is so complex and intelligent, in fact, that a breast often produces milk simply in response to the cry of a newborn child.
It's incredibly hard on the mother, too. All those hormones play havoc with other parts of the body, causing tiredness, stress, and irritation. With newborns requiring up to half an hour of breastfeeding, every two hours, nipples and breasts can quickly become sore and chafed. It may be a beautiful connection between a mother and a baby, but it's sure as hell not an easy one.
The Science Behind The Movement
As truly messed-up as this whole thing might seem, there's actually a name - and a movement - behind Jennifer's new lifestyle choice. It's called an Adult Breastfeeding Relationship, and it's really a real real-life thing. Really. The idea is that breastfeeding between two adults (hopefully consenting) fosters a relationship, or emotional connection, similar to that of a mother and her new baby.
In fact, the science seems to back it up, at least on the mother's side. The hormones produced during the breastfeeding phase do affect the brain chemistry and emotions of the mother, and both her body and mind do become attuned to the small (or big) thing attached to her breast. On the receiving end, breast milk does contain an incredible and optimal array of enzymes and proteins that traditionally improve a baby's health, immune system, and growth. Though it remains to be seen whether it has the same effect on adults.
Who Is She?
Let's talk a little about Jennifer Mulford, the woman who's decided to take her life down this strange and (some would say) twisted path. 36 years old, she had her first child when she was 16, 20 years ago. It was a time she remembers fondly, especially the breastfeeding part of it. "I can still remember the connection I felt with her as I held her and she fed. It's something I will never forget," she says.
From Atlanta, Georgia, Jennifer got into the idea of an Adult Breastfeeding Relationship (ABR) when she stumbled across a website one day loudly extolling its virtues. She knew instantly that it was the right thing for her. Single and hating it, she wanted that bond that could be formed between two people. Not only that, "I have always enjoyed my breasts being touched during sex more than anything else so I knew I would enjoy it."
That's One Lucky Guy
The problem was, of course, that she was single. She looked everywhere for a man who would enter into this arrangement with her, but nothing worked out. She turned to Craigslist, but the same thing happened. She put messages on the ABR forums, but still nothing. It wasn't until she started chatting to an old childhood sweetheart, Brad Leeson, that she realized she had found her man. He was immediately open to the idea.
"It was like a light switched flicked in his head. I could tell from his voice that he was curious and excited." Brad is a bodybuilder, and although he's your typical jock alpha male outside the home, apparently away from the public eye, he's really into this whole pretending to be like a baby thing. "This relationship lets him put his guard down, be submissive and allow himself to be loved 100 per cent," Jennifer says.
There's Benefits For Him, Too
It also lets him get really buff. The proteins inside breastmilk are obviously designed for optimal growth of a baby, so for an adult male, the proteins will really boost his muscles and should get him ripped in no time. And with Jennifer not having a job anymore, he's basically got this stuff on tap. Every two hours, he can go straight to the source for a cost-free protein shake.
In the video you're about to see, Jennifer explains the benefits for her as well. She calls the connection they have "wonderful", and says that no matter what happens to her during the day, it always makes her feel peaceful and relaxed to have her man latched on to her nipple. Brad would love to do it in public, but Jennifer is hesitant about showing off that side of their relationship to the world. "I'll never say never," she says, "but I love the time we spend nursing alone. It's our time away from the rest of the world and I look forward to every feed."
It's Not Going To Work Just Yet
There is just one teeny-tiny problem in all this, and that's that Jennifer doesn't actually have any milk to give right now. Since she gave birth to her daughter 20 years ago, her breasts' supply has long since dried up. For all their talk about this "magical" connection, Brad, for the moment, is just sucking on air.
According to the ABR advocates - and maybe even science, we don't know - in a couple of months, Jennifer's milk supply will flow again. If she keeps on trying, and Brad keeps on sucking, every two hours, eventually her body will get the message and it'll start producing as if she had just had a baby. Alongside supplements like the appropriately named Mother's Milk Tea, a herbal pill called Lactiful, and oatmeal and flax seeds, Jennifer's hoping the all this dry feeding will soon turn into a fountain of youth.
How It's Working Out
You'll get a better idea of Jennifer's and Brad's reaction to these unusual circumstances from the following video, but for now we can pretty confidently say that they're enjoying themselves. Although not having a job would be pretty great news for anyone, whether or not they're breastfeeding their boyfriend.
That's not to say that they don't have their problems during this milk festival. Just like a new mother, Jennifer's breasts have gotten pretty sore, pretty quickly. Their sleep is disrupted by their two-hourly schedule. "Nights have been a struggle because Brad sleeps so peacefully but we manage to cope - until he falls asleep latched onto me, which is beautiful." Beautiful, but very exhausting. Still, both Jennifer and Brad seem very upbeat about their journey, and it really does look like it'll work out for them.
It's Not Just About Sex
Now, any red-blooded male in the room will think that while this does all sound a bit wrong, it does also sound pretty sexy. Sucking on your partner's boobs is kinky, right? Well, according to Jennifer, that's not actually what it's all about. "It's been difficult to distinguish the difference between nurturing and sex," Jennifer explained. "Although it's so beautiful and peaceful it's also erotic. It's been hard to get through the first few nursing sessions without being tempted to have sex, but each time it's getting easier."
Which, let's be honest, is pretty damned confusing. Isn't sex an emotional connection too? Wouldn't combining both of these activities be the ultimate "magical" connection? Then again, having sex with someone who just fed on your boob would make Freud's head explode, so maybe it's all a bit too weird.
The Truth From Their Lips
If you're still not convinced by their truly bizarre story, it's time to hear from the couple themselves. In this video, you're going to see exactly what's going through their minds - and whether they're telling the truth about how much fun they're having. "This is a lifestyle we have chosen," Jennifer says. "We look forward to years from now still needing and wanting each other."
Which, to be fair, is the same sentiment found in any long-term relationship. But is all this breastfeeding really helping things along? Watch this insane story and find out for yourself. And what do you think about it all? Is it something you would try one day, or do you find the whole thing a little bit sickening? What if someone you loved asked you out of the blue to do it? Should we all just live and let live?
